Construction

Construction is an activity with high multiplier effect in terms of providing employment and also has linkages with other sectors, both large organized industries (cement, steel, electric appliances, earth movers, finance) and small-scale unorganized sectors (transport, hardware, construction labor such as masonry). Recognizing the strong linkages with other sectors of the economy and its contribution to local purchasing power, the government has continuously offered fiscal support in the form of tax benefits to households that take loans from the banking system for the construction of houses.

Typically, this category includes organized credit to housing, building roads and railways, bridges and other building infrastructure.
